In honor of our 15th Anniversary, we brewed a step-mashed, Old World German-style Fest Lager with a base of German malt and German Perle and Mittelfüh hops, then conditioned it in wooden barrels at 3°C for three months. Fresh krausen is added for a soft, approachable carbonation

Lightly foggy pale yet glowing yellow under a tall, lukr condensed creamy white foam.
A summer hug all over the palate, the wildly soft medium-light body is filled by a pillowy carbonation that gently delivers fresh buns and white corn accented by a hint of grassy wildflower before finishing semi-dry.
Despite the sun's best effort, it doesn't ever seem to skunk up during the entire session on the picnic table here at the Hill. An absolute pleasure to quaff.

Growler, purchased from Hill Farmstead Brewery in Greensboro Bend, VT.
This one pours a golden light orange color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells quite toasty, with some light spice, doughiness, and some herbal notes.
Both this and Autumna are great beers, but I think this edges out Autumna slightly. It’s got such a wonderful toastiness to it, with a slight honey sweetness, and a really nice herbal and spicy hop character. I could drink so much of this – I wish I could have had this whole growler.
This is very drinkable, with a soft light body, with a smooth, crisp finish with a nice bite on the end.
This could have been nothing but outstanding, knowing Hill Farmstead’s track record.
