The second offering in our Cellar Series
is an unfiltered pale ale brewed with
pilsner malt, wheat, and oats, fermented
with our house Kölsch ale yeast, and
dry-hopped with Citra, Mosaic, and HBC
1019. Hazy light orange in color with
bright notes of honeydew melon, peaches,
and tangerine rind, with a soft mouthfeel
and dry, moderately bitter finish.

Best before 8/14/2024; consumed on 6/7/2024
Pours a foggy, dark gold body capped with multiple fingers of fluffy, eggshell-white foam; good head retention yields a slim, half-finger of cap, modest, frothy collar, and myriad array of soapy lacing caked across the walls of the glass.
Aromas of orange marmalade waft through grassy resins as a tinge of lemon fades over time and soft, floral perfume lingers.
Taste offers a flaky malt base beneath clean resins and a touch of orange zest upfront, with melon rind past the mid-palate and tinges of peppercorn/straw informing the back end of the profile.
Mouthfeel brings a medium-light body and modest carbonation; delicate, flaky texturing yields a mild, resinous gloss through the mid-palate as a drying crispness holds into the finish.
A light, easygoing Pale Ale hybrid marries west coast and New England elements, showing dashes of candied citrus contrasting grassier resins for a straightforward quencher.
