Served on tap in a pint glass
Appearance – The beer is served a super hazy orange amber color with a one finger head of pure white foam. The head has a great level of retention to leave a good sum of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the brew is sweet with lots of tangerine and tropical fruit aromas of papaya, pineapple, and mango. Along with these aromas comes tons of orange juice and some smells of grass and hay.
Taste – The tastes begins with a sweet orange juice and tropical fruit flavor mixed with some tastes of grapefruit and light herbal hop. As the taste advances the sweet tastes remain very strong and are joined by some flavors of yeast, pine, and some more grapefruit. As the taste advances the pine herbal flavors get slightly stronger with a little bit of grass and floral hop joining in and leaving on with a rather sweet but easy drinking and somewhat more dank hopped taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is average to slightly more chewy with a carbonation level that is rather low. For the mix of sweet, yeast and dank the feel is quite nice and makes for a robust but easy drinking brew.
Overall – This is a very tasty brew overall. Tons of sweet fruit, nice dank hop, and some big robust flavors.
