this is quality beer, but i like pretty much everything these guys do, and it was good to be back in here, good vibes always at this brewery! this isnt the lightest one of these, and i kind of dig that, i can smell and taste the rice, it has some nice floral sweetness to it, and is still easygoing and refreshing despite having a little bit more too it, fairly well hopped as well, nice crisping back end, professionally lagered, it comes together great, could make a night of this, a fine pizza beer too! blonde and sunny looking, clear and radiant, short white head but tons of carbonation, super lively and appealing looking. aroma of cut flowers, lightly herbal maybe european hops, the soft rice, and some pils malt, crackery, fresh, clean, and simple, with tight minerality and immediately high refreshment value, even before i take a pull. up front sweetness, gentle white florals, the rice is appreciable but delicate in this, i taste it right away, almost nutty but still light, wildflower honey, and more lager yeast in the taste than i could smell, a little bit old worldy, pils-like really, especially with the probably higher than average hopping for a rice lager, nice almost style hybrid then, great balance and proportionality, quicker, slightly bitter back end, fresh, bubbly, even a champagne whisper to it, very good overall quality. love this place, i think of them more for classic ales than lagers like this, but they have it dialed!
