On-tap at Bir & Fud in Rome.
Pours a clear golden color with a 1.5-finger white head. The head slowly recedes into a thin pancake on top leaving thick lacing.
Smells of crisp pilsner malts with hints of muddled light fruit aromas and grassy hops. Also present are indistinct spices.
Tastes similar to how it smells. Light pilsner malt flavors start things off up front and are joined quickly by earthy and slightly grassy hop flavors. Midway through the sip the flavors sweeten a bit as hints of light fruits make an appearance - mostly pears. The fruit flavors fade into mild amounts of spices that lead to an ending equally parts bitter and sweet.
Mouthfeel is good. It's got a solid thickness with active carbonation.
Drinkability is also good. I didn't have any problems finishing my glass and could have another.
Overall this was a more Americanized (or in this case Italianized) version of a saison with more focus on the malts and to a lesser extent hops than on the yeast. A tasty beer that's worth a shot.

Quite deep orange color, slightly hazy. A white foam, quite compact and creamy.
Fresh smell, hop, citrussy, spicy, with pepper notes.
In the taste again citrus fruitm peppery, quite dry.
Pleasant and good. A bit of sweetness in the back n the end.
Again citrussy in the aftertaste, and a good fruitiness, well amalgamated with the hop, that comes back in the aftertaste again.
