L - 1-finger mocha head atop a pitch black body.
S - tons of hazelnut, peanut butter, coffee, chocolate. Wow.
T - coffee and hazelnut are at the forefront, followed by chocolate, vanilla, and just a little bourbon. Low bitterness. Moderate-low sweetness. Low booziness.
F - medium body and carb.
O - the body isn’t quite there, but damn does this smell and taste good!

S - Hazelnut, bourbon, chocolate, vanilla.
T - Hazelnut, delicate vanilla, light caramel, and bourbon from start to finish.
M - Big and full bodied, slick, and very sticky on the lips.
O - This is an impressive beer!!

The definition of a failure beer.
Pours a decent looking black, big hazelnut nose, not much else. Smells like a cheap cup of hazelnut coffee. The hazelnut is so artificial it's almost revolting.
Not much going on regarding the taste, no bourbon or coffee, just big bold fake hazelnut with a smidge of stout.
Retire this one and don't look back Odd Side....

Where do I begin? If you like hazel nuts this is for you because that's all you taste! There is zero barrel flavor and zero coffee flavor. The color looks great, nice and dark and looks like motor oil. The hazel nut flavor is overpowering and really artificial. I had to pour half the bottle down the drain it was that bad and to force myself to finish half the bottle. Just poorly done in my opinion. If you want to try this beer buy a cheap cup of cold hazelnut flavored coffee and there you have it. One of the worst beers I've tried this year.

Tan head. Dark brown color.
The hazelnuts show a lot, but they are artificial and overly nutty. Bourbon and oak, but sourness in the finish. Just not a well made beer.
Medium bodied. Too much carbonation.
Not for me. No idea where the 4.4 comes from.

Pours a deep, dark almost black with a tan, long lasting head. Good lacing present. The nose is amazing. Strong amounts of hazelnuts, sweet coffee, vanilla and chocolate, I feel like there is cinnamon dolce and caramel.
Yes! Hazelnut syrup, it doesn't overpower and balances well, non bitter coffee, chocolate and vanilla, some spice. The bourbon barrel seems overpowered but I don't care, give me that hazelnut! So big and chewy, mouthfeel is where I want a big stout to be. It lives up to my personal hype. Love it.

12oz bottle dated 10/11/17 poured into a pint glass in a thick slow viscous stream of deep dark brown elixer topped with a 1/4in light brown head that levels to a thin cap and ring but easily reforms with agitation, and leaves a sheet of spotted lacing.
Aroma includes hazelnut, cocoa, booze, and coffee.
Flavors match with a little booze heat as it warms.
Mouthfeel is an oily medium-full with a sticky, dry finish.
Overall a great beer.

Poured out as a dense looking black color with little to no head on top. The smell of the beer has a massive roasted nut and coffee aroma. The taste is rich with chocolate and hazelnut. The feel is medium to full bodied. Overall it’s very good.

Formerly known as Ahh Nuts. This beer was a barrel aged coffee hazelnut chocolate stout, and it lived up to all of my expectations. The smell was all chocolate and hazelnut. The mouth feel was slick, and thick. The taste was very little coffee, less barrel, but was a sweet chocolate hazelnut bomb with hints of cherry and banana. Outstanding beer. I love Odd Side stouts!

I place this beer firmly in the one-and-done-post-dinner-dessert-sweet-treat category. Technically speaking, of course. It’s a mighty tasty beer that occupies that oft discussed zone on the cusp of being a beer.
Coal-black with a tan head that puffs up and then slowly sags and fades.
Aroma is fudge brownie, hazelnut coffee, chocolate cake batter. Light notes of oak and bourbon lingering in the background.
Taste is hazelnut coffee and cake-forward. Sweet and cloying, but not sticky. The bourbon barrel brings and added weight that prevents the beer from totally floating away on a sugary-sweet cloud of whimsy. No bitterness whatsoever.
Sweet and decadent, moderate mouthfeel that’s isn’t too heavy. The kind of beer that reminds you to brush your teeth when you’re done. A nice treat.

This is probably my favorite beer from Odd Side. The name explains it all. Hazelnut taste through and through so if you like hazelnut don't ever miss this one. Absolutely perfect. One a side note, I aged a couple bottles from 2015 and overtime the coffee flavor becomes much stronger and the hazelnut gets covered up. I still enjoyed it at one year but I think I most liked inside 3 months.

Poured a viscous black color with a beige head. Then wow, the aromas! Picked up a ton of hazelnut followed by mocha with added chocolate. Put them together and it was like a peanut butter cup. Did not pick any bourbon though. Upon tasting, I took in hazelnut, sweetened coffee, and chocolate or better described as brownie batter. It's very sweet throughout with no trace of bitterness. At the finish, the beer lended a smooth transition to flavors of bourbon that was not the least bit overwhelming. The mouthfeel was heavy and rich, yet not so sticky. Overall a solid beer. Flavors were not artificial-like and the barrels added a trace of bourbon without being overwhelming.

Fans of sweet, sweet, boozy stouts rejoice! This beer is for you! I was amazed by the intensity of this beer. The smell was simply fantastic, like freshly roasted german nuts with notes of bourbon goodness. I almost wanted to smell this beer more than I wanted to drink it... almost. Because the taste was also intense but in a more rewardingly complex way. Add to the nuts and bourbon flavors of toffee, caramel, vanilla, and plenty of dark fudge. A perfect dessert beer.

L- Black, not much head.
S- Potent blast of hazelnut smell. Kind of sugary and chocolatey.
T- Once again, heavy on the hazelnuts. Some bourbon, roasted malts and molasses. A little too sweet, especially if you have more than a few ounces.
F- Medium thickness. Smooth.
O- Pretty tasty and a good change of pace. I'm having a bit of a hard time finishing the bottle though. The sweetness and nuttiness is solid at first, but a little much towards the end of the pour.
