Pours a yellow-ish gold with two fingers of foamy head that slowly settles to a nice cap with ample lacing. Aroma of lemon with grapefruit on the tail. Taste follows nose. Very enjoyable.

I am trying this beer off the tapper at the Boise, Idaho location as part of a four sample flight. It poured a slightly hazy golden with white head which left a spotty lace. The beer was nicely balanced and easy to drink. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a solid beer.

16 oz canned on 8/22/22. Consumed from an oversized "pint" glass on 9/24. Beautiful beer. Lemony/dark yellow liquid. 2-3 finger white dense head that lingers a long time. Leaves generous lacing. Translucent, but not opaque haze. Not a lot of obvious smell but my nose is not very sensitive. Taste is citrus-dominated. I call it lemony/grapefruit. Medium to light ide of medium body. Medium carbonation. Overall I like this one more than a lot of hazy IPAs. I need to get another and re-visit this one to better elaborate on the smell/taste. This review suffers from the state of my thirst at the time of drinking.

well made and fresh as they come on release day, but nowhere near as striking as a few of the previous project x beers, although i remain a believer that this series represents some of the best hoppy beers in idaho. this one is all el dorado, and maybe its the single varietal thing that makes this seems a little less dynamic. sunny pale orange in the glass, high white head, light haze, especially compared to some of the others, lighter and more refined looking for a hazy, lots of bubbles but also a decent bit of body once i get into it, not sure the texture makes me want to drink five of them. the hops burst in aroma and flavor, obvious el dorado to me, an almost citra note there too, ripe cantaloupe, mandarin oranges from the can, meyer lemon, and a slight herbal greenness thats different from when hops burn from being over dosed, it seems almost inherent in the varietal in this, weird but good, real good. its juicy and ripe and fresh, maybe a touch of sweet peach nectar too, but then it turns a little bitter for a hazy as it warms, the wheaty heft in the body seems to kick up too, and the second half of the pint lacks the crispness and ease of the first half, not to its detriment, only to the detriment of excessive drinkability, i actually enjoy its evolution. good balance, the malt is pale and simple and its on the dry side overall, hops have some oiliness, but its also very well carbonated. i appreciate it not being so strong too, i think the last one was 7.5% abv, so this does offer a little more staying power. overall a tasty ipa, but not their best in this series, and frankly not an amazing expression of el dorado, a little more aggressive that i feel like that hop often wants to be...
