Fantasia HIPA is everything hop heads have come to love about the style - It begins with a robust malt bill of pale & white wheat, flaked oats, and dextrin malt to create a sturdy backbone, followed by a liberal addition of four different rock-star hops throughout the brew and in the cellar, all of which contribute their own unique set of flavors and aromas to the beer. Expect a cloudy and full bodied beer with tropical vibes as well as stone fruit and berries on the nose and through the palate.

16oz can from Boise Co-op. Hazy orange golden pour with a fluffy off-white head. Muted citrusy aroma, graffiti peel. Taste adds touches of tropical and stone fruits to the light, zesty citrus flavors. Faint lingering bitterness, dry.

another banger in this series, i look so forward to these, everyone in my family here does, and this one does not disappoint. to me a little lighter and cleaner, less of the starchy heft from the grain, a little less raw in that sense, and with just a bit of sweetness extending and enhancing the hops, so tasty! belma, vics secret, galaxy, and mosaic, nice combination, definitely popping on the southern hemisphere stuff, juicy but distinctive, and real tight and tidy on the ferment which i love in these. orange tinted, not aggressively cloudy or anything, and sporting north of an inch of white foam head with lots of lace as it drinks down. aroma is fresh as can be, white peach, mango, key lime, and apricot, some oiliness and some dankness but neither vegetal nor bitter for how robust it is, sweetness is subtle and pleasant, nice balance from just a little bit of a richer malt base it seems. i get a berry note up front, a hint of coconut, canned pineapple, clementine too, lots of fruit wrinkles to this, the belma hops are unique in it, the varietals come together super well. there is a real ripe juiciness to this that makes it summery, warm weather flavors, even vacation vibes to this, and its drinkable because it doesnt linger or feel heavy, one of the more repeatable beers in recent iterations of this series. fun and fresh and flavorful, real modern, dialed in, and without frills, its delicious. these guys are without question making the best hazy ipa in idaho...

16oz can purchased at the Wylder in Boise. Pours that classic hazy soft gold with a pretty massive white head from the hard pour. Fairly familiar hop aromas, fruity and a bit sharp, maybe grapefruit? Moderate bitterness on the palate with notes of cereal grains.

Orange tinged golden hue, white (very) fluffy head. Turbid with solid retention and clumpy lacing.
Nose has a firm citrus blend of tangerine, orange zest, lime zest, grass and undertones of pepper.
Flavors take it further. Zesty. At times a tad floral yet a bit spicy on the swallow.
Mouthfeel is medium, good carb, and hints at pillowy.

Opaque pale orange/gold with long lasting 1.5 finger white head. Fair amount of lacing. No visible solids. not a lot of smell, but me sense of smell is weak. ruby grapefruit and some nectarine(?). Medium to heavy body with low to moderate amount of very fine carbonation. overall very nice, despite being a pretty common flavor profile ( citrus dominant with some token amount of other fruits)
