Sampled 5/28/2011 at the brewery.
Pours hazy golden red, white head, not much lacing or retention.
Aroma is malt, grass, caramel, and a tiny bit of honey.
Flavor is bready, bitter, earthy, lightly boozy, caramel, and has an odd (albeit light) buttermilk flavor in the background. All around the flavor isn't bad.
Body is medium/heavy, could stand to be lightened a bit, or at least carbed up a bit more.
