From a 4-pack picked up at Target in Missoula, MT
16oz can poured into a Ben's Bottle Shop nonic pint
P hazy pale orange w/ a 1f white head; quick recession; heavy lace left behind toward the top of the glass
N soft to soft-med nose of tropical notes, melon, and citrus
T tangy melons and sharp navel orange over very light biscuity/crackery malt; subtle profile, but pleasant; very little sweetness; green hops in the aftertaste
Mf light-med bodied w/ med-high carb; makes for good drinkability
O not one of their Project-X standouts imo, but not too shabby either

16 oz. can from Trader Joe's in Tustin. Pale yellow milkshake in appearance topped with a small white head. Pine and pineapple in the aroma. More pine in the taste with orange, pineapple, tangerine and passion fruit. There's a good, solid pine and citrus pith bitterness and bite to balance the fruity sweetness along with a little heat from the ABV. Finishes with sweet orange and woody notes on the tongue and a lasting bitterness. Excellent hazy IPA.

16oz can pours out medium-gold colored and hazy, with a white head. On the nose and the palate of this one, its incredibly close to an orange creamsicle...the body is a bit zippy with a nice bite to it, there are notes of fresh-cut grass, vanilla, tangerine, and limes. Enjoyable.

Stamped with a genesis date of 03/04/25.
Well, before I can even talk about the appearance, the nose jumped out upon the top of the can. So I’m starting there. This bad boy fills the nose with a gloriously pungent mix of tropical, citrus, and some green resiny notes. It’s really bright, green, and juicy. The initial pop carried peach, hence pineapple, citrus, zest, and green grass.
The flavor doesn’t quite follow. The intensity of the nose has kind of a smooth delivery of a citrus, dominant tropical punch. Notes of pineapple and mango chime in, and there’s a slightly herbal note to the bitterness.
Mouth is OK for style doesn’t have the fluffiness that one would hope for hazing
Overall A pretty good beer. Once it was poured the initial fluff dropped down to a thin film and left very scattered lacing. But the color is not the most appealing. I would describe it as a slightly dull, opaque Kearns pear nectar in color.

Draft at Mother Earth - Downtown. Hazy yellow -orange pour, tight white head leaves lacing all the way down. Ripe, fruity aroma, notes of tropical and citrus. Taste starts with a zesty bite, citrus peel, tangerine, melon. Abrupt finish, minor dryness.

the latest project x release, dropped last weekend, a terpene forward brew that drinks pretty intense, almost like its too new, i bet it will mellow some in the can in the weeks ahead, looking forward to it relaxing a little but, this is quite pungent, modern but it hits a little less polished than the best of these to me, not quite green, but zippy and long on the palate, a late flavor climax which is cool, but i couldnt make an afternoon of this one i dont think, well, maybe, its still delicious, but i did find it filling. fairly dense and hazy, not quite muted or dull, but not bright either, no sediment or visible particulate but pretty thick anyway, good head on it from both tap and can, enjoyed it both ways already! the nose is cool, weedy, but like fruity new school sativa not old school dank, tangerine, pink floral character, white wine, to me a little too intense to be just from hop pellets, products like cryo, terpenes, something like that seems obvious, and thats even more true in the flavor, late, right before the swallow, but it hits hard when it does hit, twangy green grapes, jasmine, and key lime and lime candy, gummy bear generic fruitiness, lots to it and to me somewhat concentrated. a little bit of richer cereal character, starchy and heavier to drink than it needs to be, the grain doesnt seem to work to balance the hop intensity, it just heaps on, and this sits a little bigger in the belly than it should. fine carbonation though, a distinctive flavor profile, definite southern hemisphere hop presence, almost too fresh, eager to revisit this when it relaxes some. this isnt one of the best, but this series has set a high bar and i still look forward to all of them!
edit: this is actually aging well in the beer fridge, a couple months old now as let the overdosed terpene edges come down a little, and its more cohesive now, less permanent on the palate too, better for me, more drinkable, still distinctive because of the terpenes, but better balanced and more well rounded now. if this was too weird and intense for you when it first came out, give it a shot now, doing way better here in late may several months after it was released...

Nothing remarkable here: Generic opaque gold/tan color with a mere 1 finger of relatively short- lived head and minimal lacing. Fairly complex smell and flavor; some citrus, some berry. Nice medium body mouthfeel with fine carbonation leaving a prickly sensation.
