Sampled this at their restaurant in Lahaska, Pa. As it states on their beer menu, all of their beer is brewed for them by River Horse Brewing in Lambertville. Not sure if this is the new version of Belgian Horse, or what. The alcohol is close. This is one hell of a sweet beer (literally, not figuratively). I was told by the bartender that this beer came out sweeter than they wanted and needs to age some more. Anyway, itÂ’s a very pale beer with a good amount of fine carbonation and topped by a bubbly thin head. One sniff and you are hit by an intense smack of bubblegum and candy-like sweetness. Sticky and slightly lemony. The taste is again, very sweet with the typical malt candy sugars you would find in a beer of this style, but the sweet is pushed to the max. Has a touch of caramel and bitterness in the finish with a definite alcohol presence. Not a big fan of sweet beers, but I happened to enjoy a sample of this.
Not sure if I could do a whole pint, though.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
