Served as part of a small sampler tray at their restaurant in Lahaska, Pa. As it states on their beer menu, all of their beer is brewed for them by River Horse Brewing in Lambertville. This was poured into a 7 oz. tall sampler glass. This beer looked very appealing from the get go. The head was ultra creamy and remained consistent firm the entire drink. Thats pretty amazing for a smaller sample. Beer was an orange amber color and was very clear. The aroma gave hints of buttery sweet toffee malts. The taste is slightly sweet with a very low bitterness. Floral notes add a bit of complexity. Theres a sweet caramel malt presence that adds a creamy texture to this beer. Butternut is a good way to describe the finish. Well blended and highly enjoyable. This is much better than the RH bottled version I had years ago.
