Poured from 32 oz growler into tulip glass.
A: Extremely dark black with smallish one to two finger tan head. Some spotty lacing.
S: Hints of citrus mixed with pine and resin. Roasted malts, chocolate, and perhaps a bit of smoke.
T: Nice blend of hop bitterness and citrus blended with roasted malts. Small hints of citrus in the background.
M: Medium body, and perhaps a bit light on carbonation. Finish is a bit dry, and reminds me a bit of a smoked porter.
O: A nice black IPA, and nice diversion from the Black Friday shopping madness.
