Crowler picked up from the brewery, enjoyed 10 days later. Love a damned crowler. Poured into a pint glass and enjoyed as the beer warmed up from fridge-temp to room-temp.
Caramel-brown body with a khaki head. Aroma of brown bread, bitter hops and toasted grains. Simple, straight-forward but not boring or plain.
Taste is more doughy than bitter, although there is a nice crisp bitterness in the body but it's light. Bitterness comes to the forefront when the beer warms. Nothing floral or earthy - just dough and light bitter hops.
Dry and flavorful; super easy on the palate. Could drink this for a while when in the mood.

Mild caramel. No sweetness to the nose. Enough hop to provide a white pepper element.
Served at about 50 degrees F. Very rich like a cask should be but there's good carbonation. The flavor matches the smell--relatively dry but with the caramel (crystal malt) notes. The finish is more spicy than bitter. Overall, a great flavored session beer.
