An American Pale wheat beer brewed with wheat and pils malt, and hopped with only Citra hops. Straw gold in color, slightly hazy, delicate in malt flavor, with a big citrus and lemony aroma. A fantastic summer crusher.

Poured in a glass from the tap at brewery in Salem. Pours opaque golden yellow with two fingers of head that slowly recede; great lacing. Tastes of subtle notes of tropical fruit with equally subtle hop bitterness. Style advertised as NEPA. Good.

16 oz can poured into a teku
A- A fairly hazy golden straw with a two finger white head.
S- Citrus, pineapple, some grapefruit, slightly piney, touch of wheat, a little floral.
T- Citrus, pineapple, citrus zest, some wheat, a little piney and floral.
M- Smooth, light body.
O- The can is calling it a New England Pale Ale so style-wise my number reflect that. This is very easy to drink and still flavorful given the lower ABV.

Poured into a becher pint glass, the appearance was a stiff yellow 'cloudy to hazy' sort of color with a small white foamy head softly dissipating to leave some modest lace.
The aroma had some lemon sharp sweet notes with some citrus rind, a light grassy hop spice and a soft clingy sweet grain underneath.
The flavor leaned towards the sweet end flowing through some grassy hop spices and a light contour of wheaty/grainy riding on into the aftertaste with some lemon bits.
The mouthfeel was between light and medium bodied with a good sessionability. Light carbonation and a mild finish of lemon rind and grassy hop spice.
Overall, seems somewhat of a cross between an APA and an APWA. It's one I would come back to, I am sure of that.

I’m a huge fan of the steal this beer podcast hosted by the head of carton brewery. Their flagship is boat beer - I lovely session with acidulated malt and love late hops. This beer is similar in that the acidulated malt add a layer of crispness while their attentive hopping give lovely complimentary aromatics and flavor. Nose isn’t super strong, but has a great tanginess. Flavors are very limey and corn tortilla. Easy to drink while being complex. Awesome beer.

Whitish clouds to the lemon yellow color. Moderate head which leaves an initial ring of lace and then a few streaks afterwards.
Nice spicy hop aroma. It smells more like an APA than a wheat beer.
The body is thin and the carbonation is high like most wheat beers, but the comparison seems to end there. The bar is mild without any notable pale malt coming through. There's a solid amount of bittering hop but not an overwhelming flavor.
