Beautifully thick, dense, and creamy wet foam, lingering lace.
Herbal, biscuit, malty, subtle but layered nose, keeps drawing you back in.
Clean, full, dry malty backbone yet refreshing palate, crazy long finish with crackers, dried herbs, hint of fresh bread, followed by deep noble hopped bite that never ends.
Well balanced and complex, excellent lift.
So crushable. It's like Tenner, but a little more of everything. Would love to taste this side by side with The Standard and Tenner.

Canned 2022/03/16
Pours a fizzy foamy 1.5 finger head with moderate retention, a touch of messy lacing, crystal clear golden straw pilsner color

Nose fair doughy malt, very raw bread dough, little cracker, hint of yeast, very light herbal hop

Taste brings lots of doughy malt again, cereal, straw, super doughy malt, very light herbal hops, rich grain but all on the lighter side so the decoction seems like it was a bit in vain, drier finish, long lingering grassy hop

Mouth is med to lighter bod, low carb

Overall OK but not great

 

Canned 3.16, best by 7.16, opened 5.15 , poured into a new glarus pokal produces a frothy off white two finger foam cap over a clear golden liquid with occasional laconic carbonation bubbles

Brewers Notes: Our 12-year anniversary beer, Dvanáctka - Czech Pale Lager, is a love letter to all things Czech pale lager. A six-hour triple decoction with Czech floor malted barley, two-hour wort boil, Sládek hops, open fermentation, natural carbonation, and extended maturation in horizontal layering tanks.

Aroma is grassy, malty..the grassiness is dominant

Taste is grassy, malty, biscuity, peppery spice , the pepper finishes the taste

Good sudsing, clean , crisp, refreshing , semi dry with the peppery finish

Pours a beautiful golden with white head. Nice clarity to it. Some nice fragrant spicy hops on the nose. The hops definitely are the showcase here, spicy and earthy. The malt showcases on the backend in a biscuit that isn't browned type of fashion. There is some of that spicy white pepper character that stays with you. I think that the extra decoction and time has certainly helped with the aromatics and bitterness. It is familiar. It different. It is like if you combine Tenner and The Standard. I don't know if that does it justice because it certainly oversimplifies it. I don't know if I like it more than either of those beers either, but I do like it.
