Brewed with Salem's soft water, floor-malted Czech Pils malt, and a blend of Sterling, Saaz and Sladek hops. Double decocted, open-fermented with extended lagering time. The name pays homage to Czech beer halls that are named after animals, and to the cormorants that live in the South River adjacent to our Salem Biergarten.
