The BIA featured Lager is a smooth dry pils in the German tradition. With a longer brew time and a temperature controlled environment. This golden pilsner provides a crisp, refreshing flavor with a creamy dense head.

Served on tap in a sample glass.

Appearance: Amber with a thin white head.

Smell: Slight hint of honey, and some grassy notes.

Mouthfeel/Taste: Smooth light bodied. Taste of some honey and malts.

Overall: This brew was ok, I would have it again but it lacks some character.

I am not a usual fan of light lagered beers (oktoberfests are another story), but this was quite a treat. Aroma was slight honey. Taste was a tad biscuity but pleasant with subtle notes of honey. Aftertaste was quite dry with a hint of caramel. Very drinkable and quenching. It's not what I would grap on a -30 degree winter evening, but this has been a scorcher and thus rather the perfect setting for this beer.
