12oz can (no date, fresh release) poured into a perfect pint glass at fridge temp 5.5% ABV per label. The beer pours very bright light amber in color with off white head. The head recedes to a thick ring and leaves a good web of lacing. The aroma is moderate in strength featuring caramel and piney hops. The taste is bittersweet caramel and piney, earthy notes with a little tropical fruit thrown in. Moderate bitterness for the body. The mouthfeel is medium to thin bodied with average carbonation and a dry finish. Overall, good to very good. Drinks like an IPL.
