There is a black code stamped on the neck: "03011374 10:43:19"
Appearance: The body of the beer is a medium gold color with a medium amount of haze. The head is thick, white, and fluffy. Good retention and lacing.
Aroma: I get a light, spicy hop aroma with a bit of what smells like ham oddly enough.
Taste: There is a nice spicy hop flavor up front followed by a bit of an herbal character in the middle. The finish is bitter with a sort-of woody character...it doesn't taste quite like wood but it is in this borderline of flavor between earthy moss and wood. It has quite a lot of hop flavor and it is not a traditional American Adjunct Lager.
Mouthfeel: It has a nice hop bitterness and a light body. It is more bitter than the standard AAL but overall the mouthfeel is good.
Overall: As previously mentioned this beer has more hop flavor and bitterness than other AAL's on the market. There wasn't a lot of malt character to the beer and the balance was tipped more in the favor of hops. While I would recommend it to those who enjoy a hoppy lager I would caution those who enjoy more traditional AAL's that this might not be what they are looking for.

A decent lager similar to an AAL. Nice golden color with minimal head and aromas of toasty grain, malts and rice. Finish is decent, clean, slightly crisp and only has a touch of grainy, sweet aftertaste.
