A hoppy lager (or Happy Lumberjack) brewed to quench the thirst of hardworking, hop-forward outdoor types.

A hoppy mistake one brew day that turned out to be a very popular off-season favorite. Hopped with French Aramis, a very floral, rosey flavored variety that transformed this beer from light lager to hopped up goodness. Yet, it's maintain's it's crisp, refreshing soul. Which makes this one the perfect brew to wrap up an action packed day of outdoor pursuits.

Drinking this at The Nantahala Brewing Company in Beautiful downtown Sylva NC in The Smoky Mountains.
Poured from a tap into a pint glass.
Looks golden yellow with a nice white foamy head that dropped quickly to a thin ring.
Smells lightly bready, floral, spicy sweet.
Taste follows the nose nicely.
Mouth feel is medium for the style.
Overall a very nice Lager that I would definitely order again.
Cheers!

Had one at Brewery in Bryson City.
nice head, cloudy, VERY FLORAL. sweet, buttery caramel apple. An interesting ale, yes, but I'm not sure it's lager. Too buttery and too sweet . Meh

Hmmm...not sure about this. Lager's are harder to produce succesfully...personally, if your an "ale" brewer, stick with what you're best at...but then again, what the hell do I know, I've f'd up a Mr. Beer batch by experimenting too much :)
