Drinking this at The Nantahala Brewing Company Sylva Outpost in beautiful downtown Sylva NC in The Smoky Mountains of North Carolina.
Poured from a tap into a pint glass.
Looks light brown with a light tannish foamy head that dropped quickly to a thin ring.
Smells lightly bready, sweet, spicy.
Taste follows the nose nicely.
Mouth feel is medium for the style.
Overall this is a very good example of a ESB that I would definitely order again.
I like to see breweries making this English Classic Beers because I enjoy them so very much.
Cheers!

On tap at the Burger Bar
L: brown colored ale, tan head
S: malty goodness; brown sugar, toasty grain, earthy hops
T: well balanced; toasted grain, brown sugar, caramel, earthy & herbal hops add some moderate bitterness
F: medium body, ample carbonation, balanced finish
O: just what I’d expect for an ESB; this is a good representation of a style that is sadly not brewed too often in the USA anymore
