I thought this beer was super tasty. Slightly saison-ish. Apple is in the smell and the taste. High ABV seems unbelievable.

neat beer here, tart apple, less yeast heavy than the sour apple saison they do, and definitely less spice character in it. i cannot believe its almost 9% abv. the color is watery yellow, champagne might me a nicer way to say it, with a ton of bubbles and great clarity. the nose is clean and bright with green apple tartness and a little cider sweetness. possibly partially soured, but its really subtle on the yeast and funk front. the finish is clean and almost wine-like. i would have thought this was closer to 6% abv than 9%, i just dont know where all the alcohol goes, because i cant smell or taste it, and the beer is really light. it must be all the apple juice in here, that extra sugar is so readily digestible by the yeast. i like the speedy carbonation and the light body. i may like the sour apple saison better, it feels more like a beer, but this is pretty cool too.
