Clear, amber color. Caramel malt and bread in the aroma. Sweet malty taste. Not bad but lacks some balance.

Quite dark and clear orange-amber color with plenty of foam in the wine glass. Thickish body with deep malty flavors. Pleasant aroma of bread and something fruity. Mellow and fruity flavors with a modest sweetness. More interesting that a lot of Märzens but it could use more spritz to lift the malty weight. Hops seem to be missing in action. From the 16 oz can purchased at Emigration Market. Not dated.

Munich Mayhem pours a darker amber color with a small but long-lasting head. The aroma is sweet, with notes of spice and apples. The flavor is sweet, spicy, and light apple notes—good body and feel. Overall, a sweeter Marzen, special apple notes.

Bought at Liquor Shed. No dating on the 16 ounce can.
It pours a clear deep amber with a finger of foam, has some decent lacing.
Bread and caramel malt nose with a light presence of hops. The malt is king in the smell.
Bread and caramel malt is big in the taste. Kind of earthy, some sweetness, very little bitterness. I reckon that makes it fairly authentic to the style.
Good mouthfeel. Without any dating, I can't estimate how old this is despite it showing up very recently. We don't always get fresh product. Still, I do like it.

Poured at fridge temp. Pours a beautiful brown with a reddish hint. Slight head. The nose is vibrant and full of toffee, brown sugar, bread, figs, raisins, and a very slight hop bitterness. The taste is less sweet than is suggested by the hose. The big flavors in the aroma are a bit muted here. Still a solid layer of toffee, tossed in with brown sugar, grass, malts, slight orange, grapes, and again that slight hop bitterness on the back end. Overall, a lovely easy-drinking beer.

Clear, dark amber body; tiny carbonation bubbles gently rise; thick, frothy head, off-white color. Light caramel malt taste; faint suggestion of light brown sugar; light toastiness; mild hop bitterness. Medium body; soft and smooth on the palate; light to moderate residual sugar feel; semi-dry mouthfeel.
A very pleasant, easy drinking märzen.
Pouring temperature: 53.6 ℉; canning data: unknown

The clear pint glass came filled from a tap. T'was a beautiful pour. The light biege head is just about perfect. Its color is a lovely copper-brown, bright and semi-translucent. The aroma isn't as remarkable, only offering light whole grain breadlike sweetness. That's mostly the taste, too. It's less sweet than many in this style, with a finish that runs toward dry. But, there's just not much character here. As the pint drains, leaving some nice glass lacing, the lack of the moderate sweetness in most Marzens becomes bothersome. Yes, it has more maltiness than adjunct lagers, but there's the same mouthfeel. Not bad, but too light in flavor and body to consider this much above average.

This one pours a interestingly reddish color, with some orange tints- it's the most purely red appearance I've seen in this style.
This smells like toasty, bready, and lightly sweet malt, with a touch of grassy and tea-like hops.
Despite the slightly off-kilter color on this one, this is a surprisingly good stab at the style. There's a touch of slightly bitter and almost tea-like hop character, with a wonderfully deep and rich malt character.
This is light bodied, clean, and very drinkable.
I wasn't expecting a whole lot out of this one, honestly, and it was a nice surprise.

This just wasn't doing it for me at the time and I don't miss it now, it was extremely average but recognizable as a Marzen. Lot of better ones around the Colorado area
