nope, one of the first beers from epic that i can recall thats truly not for me, not irredeemable probably to many, or even to me, but not good either, over flavored, which i dont know these guys to do really, a little cheap and perfume-esque to me too, the peach is dominating, there is no balance, its sugary, and to me this seems sort of chasing an already dying trend, like why did they do this, no way its real fruit, the base beer seems to me an afterthought, and this should be so much more (or in some ways less) than it is, especially coming from epic. its dripping with donut-like powdered sugar and vanilla notes, the lactose runs away a bit here, and the base beer cant support all this flavor despite having some body, the grain flavor is trampled over by the synthetic type peach, and this is like beer candy, i can see some summer appeal, but it almost needs to be diluted a bit. the carbonation is thankfully good, but it cant save this. cheap candy notes, lotion from the mall, very little in the way of beer elements, overly sweet at the end, and frankly one of the least impressive epic beers of all time for my money. could hardly finish a small pour. leaves a lot to be desired, even in a flexible style space like this, not their best effort...
edit: second time around a little better i think, although only improving scores slightly, some honey character to the malt that sets the fruit up well, a dried apricot note happening too, and i think maybe a little less perfume character than i remember, not so intense, but still definitely not real fruit. a lowlight from these guys...
