Poured from a can into a Bottle Logic DSN TEN glass; the first thing I noticed is that this brew does not chug; it's got a thick, rich consistency, no head formed. Second thing I noticed was the aroma; strong waft of aroma without needing to get close while pouring. Color is a gorgeous near-black except for the barest umber edge.
Aroma of bananas or maybe toasted walnuts? Caramel. Chocolate fudge.
Flavor lives up to the name; it tastes like a perfectly golden brown macaroon. Toasted coconut flavor is prominent, complemented by chocolate fudge and oak; I swear I can taste bananas foster in the background, there's definitely a caramelized banana note for me. Fresh whipped cream. Ahh, and then the whiskey note comes to play on the back end. Not too boozy; it's mellow and balanced
Mouthfeel is awesome, crisp and refreshing with the carbonation, yet rich, decadent, a little thick. Also well-balanced
I love Bottle Logic's work, but found that sometimes they may be a little too sweet. I think BBB found a way to temper the sweetness through the way they've achieved balance in their work. Although this brew is sweet, it's not overbearing. Perfect for dessert! This would pair very well with some low-sugar vanilla ice cream with bacon sprinkles

From the 16 oz can in a snifter. This Monster of a brew pours a rich coal black with
a decent head of khaki foam that settles to a thick ring, thin clumping layer, and
displays some light lacing with some decent legs with a swirl. Nose of toasted coconut,
vanilla, cream, brulee, coffee, dark chocolate, whiskey, and subtle oak dashed with orchard
fruits. Flavors find 11 on the amplifier with a well rounded profile of toasted coconut drenched
in whiskey, cream, brulee, semi sweet dark fudge, oak, vanilla, moderate char, and dark
cherry notes. Mouth feel is full, smooth, warming, rich, moderately coating, and
finishing with a sweet yet well balanced bitter malt note.
Overall, a solid entrance into the BBB line from the Epic folk!
Cheers

The pour is stout black, with a medium brown head that is almost two centimeters tall. For a barrel aged stout it has reasonable lacing.
The taste is less about a Mounds bar ((chocolate and coconut) and more about a whiskey barrel aged imperial stout. There is coconut, but it is second fiddle to the coffee and chocolate and toasted dark bread. A fair amount of rye whiskey and a touch of oak. No sign of hops or roasted malts.
The feel is lightly viscous, very appropriate for what is likely a pastry stout.
OA, good to try once out of curiosity if nothing else.

On tap at Roscoe's today.
The beer pours the expected blackish brown color with good head retention and light lacing. This beer has the look of a beer that has seen some pretty significant barrel aging. On the nose there's marachino cherry, dark chocolate, vanilla, light coffee and whiskey. The flavor profile replicates the nose pretty closely in this fairly sweet beer, though I think the whiskey flavor helps to balance sweetness. Mouthfeel is fairly full, with a long, sweet finish. Alcohol is very well integrated into the flavor profile, though you can tell it's up there a bit.
Nice impy stout from the folks at Epic, though I can't imagine ordering more than a single 8 ounce glass of this.
