Appearance-Foggy golden hay with an off white foam.
Smell-Straw and yeast with a smoked meat nose.
Taste-Follow the nose and adds stone fruits.
Mouthfeel-Light body with a long finish.
Overall-Not the most complex beer I've come across but with a light body and surprisingly long finish, I have trouble thinking of a better way to pass a lazy summer day.

Beer pours golden in color with a white head. Crystal clear and warm.
Aroma is clean and crisp. No hops, some light malt aromas.
Mostly clean, some sulfur, not too much though. A little sweet in the finish.
Fairly light body and mouthfeel.
Overall an okay beer. Very sessionable. It would be nice if hops came through and if it was not so sweet. That being said I would drink another! And another!

picked this up on a whim and my first Epic Brewing beer...is an interesting brew in that it definitely is a lager with the body of a pilsner and makes a nice counter balance between the two...after reading the Epic site it mentioned it on there also...just enough hops to counter balance makes for an interesting mix...I'm not a huge pilsner fan but I enjoy the hint of it here...would love to try this one on draft...definitely unique and liked it more than I thought I was going to go...easy drinking...

Had this at the Epic tasting room in Denver.
It pours like a pilsener, perhaps a tad dark in the copper department.
Faint zippy aroma over a solid yet light biscuit malt.
While this is a very easy drinking beer, it lacks a bit on the hops side. The spiciness and grassiness are a bit muddled. This isn't too noticeable, but as a beer dork it becomes more obvious as it drinks down. It's not bad, and is quite sound. It finishes a bit dry and leaves the palate wanting more beer. A good beer for a hot day, or for someone who's not all that into beer or craft

Pours a hazy golden-yellow with a foamy bone head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Small swaths of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, grain, and grass aromas. Taste is much the same with grain and grass flavors on the finish. There is a medium amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer with a fairly assertive hop presence in the flavor that I wasn't expecting.

Note: actually brewed in Epic's Denver, Colorado location...
The pour revealed a pale yellow body with good carbonation and a thin, white head. Light malt aroma with classic mild, spicy hop component. Light grain flavor with a peppery hop undertone. Crisp, clean, dry finish.
A very well-balanced and very tasty example of a classic lager style. Easy drinking and easy to love...

as good as a plain jane german lager really can be I suppose. its fresh malt is in nice balance with a prickly german hopping, all in a light bodied but sturdy enough package. its a good beer, if you like boring beer. I mean, my dad would rave over this clear honey colored lacey white brew, with its light bready flavor, its floral hop aromatics and all, but not me. its just too boring, nothing too it, especially following a brainless on raspberries and an imperial stout, I know I did the order wrong, but this just doesn't measure up in the intrigue department to everything else epic makes. if you like light beers, give it a go, the lager yeast is nice, but if you want to be blown away, go for something else, anything else. the new taproom in Denver is awesome though, 25 beers on, so there are plenty of others to choose from!
