Yellow haze body, a bit of brown gold hue. Almost entirely white head, leaves great lacing on the glass. Dank, ripe mango on the nose with a bit of booze on there as well also green vegetable in a good way, papaya. Taste is dank hops, oily resin, sap, grapefruit, underripe citrus rind, pepper, bread. Medium to thick, pillowy mouthfeel. Not bad at all

16oz can served in a pint can-shaped glass. Date is 11-12-2019.
Pours a fairly clear yellow with a humongous head and lots of carbonation. Smell is lots of lemon, some grain, maybe some old hay.
Taste is bitter, lemony, old hay, citrus zest. Mouthfeel is dry and light. Overall...it's not bad, but may already be past its prime.

This was given to me by a friend that also frequents the line at Other Half, as I tend to get anything from Interboro that I can get my hands on. Lots of hops in this one and yes, there was a burn here although it wasn't enough to detract from the full and spicy nature of this beer. It took a while for it to warm up, and for me to warm up to it as well, but it was certainly worth of the Mad Fat moniker when all was said and done!
Solid pour to this as the liquid was a dank and cloudy goldenrod with tons of foamy head to top it off. Lots of lacing down the side of my pint glass as it was one big sheet along the back of it. Not a strong aroma but what was there was quite varied - dank hops, weed, onions, garlic, earthy and pithy citrus, and hints of vinegar to top it off. The taste was quite deep, dank, and minty as this finished clean but had an overripe and earthy tropical undertone to it. A good citrus slickness and basic malt rounded things out as it took a while to get a hold of this, and feel the heavy-hearted nature of the flavors on my palate.
Thankfully, the amount of alcohol was light and not a deterrent. The lupulin powder ensured that this would be smooth but in my humble opinion, there were just a tad too many hops here. Not a letdown by any means but this could have been truly great with a date on the bottom of the can and just a bit more brightness and simplicity to it!

It was a perfectomendo beer why
Did we retire it . Tasted great , looked great , smells great all that . One of the best I have ever had , it was better than heady topper. In the words of Robert Plant "Bring it Back"
