16 oz can from SC.
Pours pale and hazy golden with a rather weak off-white head.
The aroma features fruity hops but has some faint must off-notes.
The flavor follows.
Overall: an odd, off style lager.

Comes in a slightly hazy, translucent straw color with a big foamy white head which dies down into a tight film after a few minutes, and leaves spotty lacing.
The aroma is a bit subdued, but offers lemon zest, grapefruit peel, grass, white pepper, cracker and lightly honeyed malt.
The flavor is lemongrass and white pepper upfront, followed by plenty of lemon and orange zest. Very gentle crackery malt, and lightly spicy on the back end, finishing clean and lightly dry with a touch of grassy bitterness.
The mouthfeel is medium-minus, the rolling carbonation giving it a bigger feel, but moving it very quickly on the palate. The beer finishes crisp, clean, smooth, and lightly dry, with just a bit of hop oil sticking on the palate.
Barrier may be most known for their IPAs, but they know how to make a killer pilsner. I highly recommend this to any lager fan, or hophead.
