A: The beer is rather hazy yellow in color and has a light to moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a finger high bright white head that settled down and left a thick layer of bubbles covering the surface and lots of lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Light aromas of limes and toasted coconuts are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and has a unique blend of lime citrus flavors with underlying notes of coconuts. No bitterness is perceptible.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied and a bit smooth on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This is definitely not your typical IPA and the breweries did a good job of combining the flavors. I found it very interesting to try a beer with coconuts as an ingredient that wasn't a stout or another darker type of beer. It was very easy to drink and even had some refreshing properties.

Tall can ...9/20/18
Hazed NEIPA kinda pour, lighter amber, fine strands of lacing left on the glass.
Orange juice and grapes on the sniff.
Carbonation a bit elevated. Could be a bit more soft and creamy...but thats a small concern.
Fruity and flavorful...more notes of orange, lemon/lime..not really getting any of the advertised "coconut"
Worthy and worth a try...Barrier (and Aslin) continue to churn out the good stuff....go get some

8/20/18 canning of this collab with Aslin... Brewed with lime and coconut, featuring Galena, Nugget, Amarillo, Simcoe, and Mosaic hops... Pours pale gold and hazy, with a finger or two of bright white head... This is a very lime-forward, tropical citrus kinda beer - that may be a deal breaker for some, but it's a win for me... Citrusy and zesty aromas suggest limes and grapefruit with floral notes... Tastes follows suit - lime up front, backed by an assortment of citrusy friends... Coconut is kinda lost in there, perhaps a hint of its chewy sweetness shows up mid-palate - and yes, I would have liked to have appreciated it a little more than I did - but this is basically a bright, zesty, crisply carbonated brew which I really enjoyed...
