Cloudy, dirty gold color. Lasting head. Blanketing lace.
I get some graininess before the flowery hop.
The flavor is sweet initially. This morphs into a slightly dryer version as the bitterness settles in. Rich body with a moderate effervescence. The finish is reasonably balanced but still leaves a long aftertaste.

Poured from a tallboy can into a Dogfish Head tulip
L: Hazed golden peach pour with thick foamy white head. Great retention and lacing... some sediment at the end of the pour.
S: Muted... citrus and a bit of peach. Not a bit characteristic of this brew.
T.F: Semi-sweet up front. Tangerine, stone fruit, and mango. Citrus mostly but some summer fruit creeps in with some lemongrass. Modest bitterness. Creamy carbonation. More fruit at the finish.
O: Decent but not spectacular. Easy drinking but not one you'll be rushing out to get more of.

Canned on 8/9/19
Pours a hazy, dulled orange-yellow with multiple fingers of dense white foam; excellent retention results in huge chunks of of froth clinging to the glass while a healthy tapestry of soapy lacing walls the glass.
Aroma shows peach skins and somewhat muted tropical citrus on a base of dry biscuit, wet grass, and hay; guava and sweet papaya come through on back end.
Taste brings out tropical tones highlighting mango and peach skins supported by grass and mild sweet dough; flaky malt and orange pith really come through on the mid-palate to the finish.
Mouthfeel has a moderate-light body with moderate carbonation carrying a fuzzy prickle across the palate; minimal-no alcohol presence; light juicy tang and short bitterness into a largely clean finish.
Steady hybrid between outright New England haze and old-school malt/hop balance that I ultimately wish would’ve committed to one side or the other; although the profile isn’t as pronounced as I’d prefer, but what does come through leaves a pleasant, approachably soft impression of both old and new IPA elements.
