From 07/08/13 notes. Had on tap at Ginger Man in NYC. Brewed as a collaboration between Barrier and Carton in NJ, at Barrier, for 2013 SAVOR in NYC.
a - Pours a hazy, amber-red color with one inch of off white head and moderate carbonation evident. There is lots of lacing on the glass.
s - Smells of flowers, strawberries, sticky sweet fruits, dark red fruits, tea, herbal notes, some earthy notes. Nice fruity, sweet nose.
t - Tastes of floral hops, strawberries, fruity malts, spices, wheat, soap, herbal notes, eathy notes, must, and tea. Interesting and more spice and earthy notes here. Not as sweet as the nose.
m - Medium body and low carbonation. Overall pretty easy to drink and nice mouthfeel.
o - Overall an interesting beer. The nose is nice with a lot of sweet fruits and floral notes, and the taste is interesting with more spices and herbal/earthy notes. Easy to drink, worth checking out at least once. Would have it again.
