First had: on tap at Barrier
Probably the best beer I sampled at the brewery. This "hopped up saison" poured a hazy golden yellow color with a thin white head; minimal retention and lacing. Fresh aroma, outdoorsy, grassy funk. Taste was quite pleasantly peppery up front, giving way to fresh-cut grass and light citrusy hops, some yeasty funk. Body was light-medium, carbonation was soft, overall making this one drinkable saison.
