From the tap at the bar in a pint glass the beer is a dark cloudy amber with a thick foam y off white head. Plenty of lace and good retention. He mouth feel is a thicker fuller body than the average with a creaminess over the trete. But not bold it is an English style bitter. The taste is ok medium oaky malt grainy bread notes with a touch of sweat toffee and Brazil nuts. Bitter is good on the sides and the finish. A nicely crafted rendition of a pedestrian beer style.
