L: Hazy translucent gold, with a big rocky white head. Medium-plus retention. A thick-ish film remains, leaving lots of lacing.

S: Lemon candy, lemonade powder, passion fruit, sugar cookie, orange peel, earth. Fairly restrained, though; nothing pops.

T: Candied lemon peel, white tea, honey, white grapefruit, sugar cookie, faint pine. Fairly subdued overall. A light bitterness, with a light residual sweetness.

F: Medium, well-carbonated, smooth, fairly clean and crisp. A bit light for 8%, though.

O: A decent DIPA. Interesting lemon candy flavors, but so subdued that nothing really caught the attention.

Hazy golden-light amber with healthy 1-finger head that falls away quickly and leaves decent lacing for the ABV.
Aroma is pretty light overall with light lemon candy and orange with light caramel and some pilsner malt sweetness
Flavor is much better with more lemon but very sumptuous maltiness with very light caramel, almost cotton candy without the super sweet back end but finishing clean. The hop component is not highly varied or complex, but it helps to dilute the huge maltiness of the original base beer which comes off heavy-handed in the malty flavor component to me. Alcohol adds some sweetness. Bitterness is medium.
Feel is incredible with medium body at most and dry finish with light-medium carbonation.
A very enjoyable IPA that I think is an upgrade from the heavy, low-drinkability base DIPA.

Not what I was expecting from a 9% dipa -light, citrusy with dry, lightly malted and slightly bitter finish. Fairly clean and deceptive
