$21.99 / 12 Beers Of Christmas variety case @ COSTCO, Christiana, DE
Notes via stream of consciousness: A hazy deep golden colored body is capped by a short head of bright white foam. I'm not particularly fond of haziness in Mexican-style lagers but whatever. The aroma is grainy with some floral character and a bit of yeasty sulphur. The flavor follows with a pleasant sweetness to the malt and additional hints of herbal hops. The bitterness is median to moderate and it finishes with a little bit of residual sweet malt left lingering. In the mouth it's medium bodied and crisp. The head didn't hold up very well, and about halfway through at this point there's no lacing left behind and I just cleaned this glass so that it's "beer clean". All together this is a decent enough, easy drinkin' beer but it's not very well made.

12 oz can best by 1/31/24 into a Becher glass.
L: SRM 3 Pours 97% clear light caramel with a thin eggshell white head that recedes quickly to thin edge foam, VG fine steady carbonation bubbles, no lacing.
S: A light hint of cereal grains, very distant lime, light apple, a suggestion of corn, gently floral.
T: Gently sweet malts, fruits, ripe citrus notes, honey, peach, light grains, corn, a hint of sea salt, background lime. It has very light & tart lime zest in the lingering finish.
F: Lightly crisp & bouncy then quickly smooth with a long dry finish. It has a medium bodied feel overall but becomes a bit more dense and slick with warming.
O: A fruity Lager! It is lightly brisk to the end. Honey notes emerge to create a light thickness to the body. Very easy to drink, pleasant tasting and is good in its style.

It looks great for the style, but not awesome overall. Golden color with surprisingly big head
S-corn, rice, the Epcot Mexico pavillion
T-corn, uncooked rice, cantaloupe
M-solid
O- It’s better than normal modelo. As an example of the style it’s good, very good even. Compared to beer in general it’s so so

12 FL OZ can
Served in a snifter
This beer pours a golden hue with a slight haze. It is topped with an inch of beige head that leaves spotty lacing.
Grain and grass aroma with light hints of citrus
Steeped grain flavor with hints of lemongrass
Light bodied with a thin mouthfeel
I guess Mexican lagers are popular? Not with me

From the can from the 2023 Christmas set, it pours a clear yellow color with a nice white head that soon reduces and leaves some spotty lacing. The nose gets a light grassy grain scent. The mouth follows, with definite grain and possibly corn taste coming through.

Pours clear straw yellow with a thick white head that falls away without leaving any lacing. Aroma is light, corn and grass.
Flavor follows the nose, a bit sweet with very little hop bitterness. Feel is light bodied and adequately carbonated. Overall, rather average.
