Half Litre in a handled mug at Drei Kronen.
A: Orange amber colour, a very slight haze, medium tanned head, moderate retention.
S: Sweet, grassy, hint of strawberry.
T: Sugar beat and hay.
M: Light carbonation, medium body.
O: Easy drinker, somewhere between a Helles and a Kellerbier.

Quite malty not enough balancing hops in my opinion. A bit too sweet as well. Feel is smooth. Decent unfiltered Helles, but not sublime. They have better ones

The last stop on my 28SEP14 bike trip... Was hoping for a Stöffla, but it was off. Second choice was their Helles, a 0.5l krug costing €2.40.
It was a clear brew, medium to light golden in color. Had a great, frothy, off-white head and excellent lacing. Nose was grassy and floral, though a bit on the mild side. Medium bodied and smooth; quite acceptable for mouthfeel.
Had some crackery malts which lent some mild sweetness to the palate. Light floral hopping ensued in this basic, typical and flavorful Helles... Prosit!
