From the 1 liter bottle, it pours a moderately dark - almost reddish - amber with a nice head. Malt in the nose and sweetish malt in the mouth. Warming and enjoyable. Note that "Halu"-ator is named after Hans-Ludwig Straub, the former (although he is still there) boss of the brewery guesthouse, turning over the operation to his daughters as brewer and hotel operator.
