A: hazy apricot. Cloudy with lots of yeast.
S: spicy, yeasty, tons of saffron and white bread.
T: starts out sweet, then goes a bit bitter, finishes in a spicy, citrusy note with orange zest and pomerans.
M: thick and rather sticky liquid. Carbonation is medium-strong, small bubbles.
O: I really enjoyed this one and must have gotten one of the good bottles (apparent problem with second fermentation) because I REALLY enjoyed it. Very, very tasty. Saffron in a beer? My word. Baked goods, citrus, saffron, yeast, a bit of alcohol to the taste and a great contrast between mouthfeel and flavor.
