A deep copper color, practically clear with a low lying off white foam cap. Settles in fast. Intricate lacing.
A rich buttery malt aroma hits my nose first. Subtlety sweet fruitiness and pine from the hops.
Man, this is a straight old school style Pale Ale with balance in mind, as the malt and hops are on equal terms. The English style buttery malt and honey effect is smooth feeling, medium bodied but classically easy to drink as the hops provide a snappy kick. Subtle pine and green earthiness in the hops and then the malt rolls in smooth and easy.
Drinkabilty is really high due to the basic balance of the beer. Nothing pops out as extraordinary, the malt might have too much charecter and hops need a boost. Overall, I really enjoyed it on tap and with my meal. Alone, at home... Not so much.

On tap at Barrington. This was poured into a pint glass. The appearance was a nice looking pale to hazy burnt orange color with a slight transparency running about it. A film of light white head glazes over the top of the beer. The smell had some pale English malts. The taste copied and carried into the aftertaste and finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with a pretty good sessionability about it. Carbonation comes across fairly smooth and assists in leaving a fairly simple creamy coating over my tongue. Overall, the more I think about it, I’d say this was more of an English Pale Ale than an American one. I’d probably still would have again.

The pour is a bright copper color with a light head. There isn't much of a scent, but it has hints of aromatic hops. This beer has a hoppier taste than the Barringron IPA, which to an hop fan is delectable. Overall, a pretty tasty pale ale.

The color was a sort of olive-amber pour with a thin white head and regular carbonation.
The aroma was nothing outstanding with a basic biscuit malt character and maybe some light hops. Fairly routine.
The body was light to medium.
The taste tended to lean on sweet malts upfront with a low to moderate bitterness at the finish. But as it warmed it seemed to improve.

Light head but it does leave some streaky ring lace. Light haze with a bright copper color.
Mild aroma that leans to the malty side.
Wow, surprisingly hoppy finish...a complete contrast to the smell. I find this to make this beer very interesting. The finish is long lasting. The body is as one would expect from an American Pale Ale.

Appearance - Amber body underneath a sticky white head that leaves great sheets of lace. Light haze. Looks really nice.
Smell - The nose is very balanced between caramel malt, light fruity esters, and citrus hops.
Taste - Juicy malt up from with some clean grains midway through. Juicy citrus fruit comes through in the dry finish with light bitterness. The finish is almost too dry for this beer, but it keeps me coming back sip after sip.
Mouthfeel - Medium-bodied. Creamy feel at first that gives way to some light tingly carbonation that tickles the tongue.
Drinkability - Fresh, local, and drinkable. Goes down very smoothly. Nothing too mind-blowing but it is well balanced and approachable.
