No longer Active, but still impressive.
I've started to drink a few ciders, but never found their fruitiness could complete with the taste of ales for balance.
But, this 2016 effort has balance. And too bad for us that it is no longer brewed. Also, retirement gets it a short review.
2016 Cider Looks aged, except it is brilliantly clear... curiously like a cider. Smells of tart apples and Tastes that way, too. After a long-lasting cidery finish, I recognize that was a very refreshing brew.
This is my second from Hof Ten and the first impressed me also. As a family-crafter doing all the sustainable methods and keeping the Belgian farmhouse tradition updated for this Century, this is a cool enterprise for which I give very high Overall Hugs. But still all that said, Hof Ten probably is on my B list for a visit as there are too many Belgian Brewers on my A Bucket List. All the same... A Votre Sante' and Gezondheid as both are common wishes conveyed in the Brabant region near Brussels.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
