09/19/12 On tap at Rattle n Hum, NYC. Lingering bitterness. Not much to balance.
Very full body but a weird watery prelude on the tongue.
Watery intro...lingering bitter...but not sweet or cloying...where am I?
In the land that time forgot. Reminds one of those Eastern European brews that have traveled too far in the belly of a freighter but retain their crudest character.
I have nothing against character & the cruder the better, but this one will not be on my Christmas card list.
