750ml bottle poured into a Flying Dog chalice.
Appearance: Bright golden in color. Slight haze but mostly clear. Two finger white dome with excellent retention and lacing.
Aroma: Faint, touches of light fruit, corn, floral hoppiness.
Taste: Fruity esters, belgian yeast, herbal and corn earthiness.Sweet european malts. eh, it's okay, a little boring nothing really stands out.
Mouthfeel: Dry, but easily drinkable. carboantion is soft. Medium mouthfeel. Once again. Nothing all hat exciting. Doesn't really make me think "tripel".

Off tap at the pub this beer was a slightly hazy 24k gold color with one finger of yellow-tinted head. The retention was as a cap and then a collar that left lacing in broken bands. The aroma was light but I did get Belgian yeast ester notes and sweet malt notes. The flavors were of Belgian yeast and some slightly fruity esters on top of a grainy core. I tasted sweet malt and some candi sugar, crystal malt, some floral hops, a light note of corn and herbal hops at the finish. The mouthfeel was creamy, the body medium/full and the carbonation frothy.

A- Pale straw colored body with a white head.
S- Some Belgian spicy yeast and a faint aroma of corn.
T- Almost exactly the way it smells, the Belgian yeast comes through a little bit, with a lot of corn. Surprisingly strong corn flavor.
M- Light, smooth, slightly carbonated. Overall very refreshing.
O- Interesting flavors, not sure what I was getting into with a Belgian beer with blue corn, but they worked together in some capacity.
