Brewed with Unibroue yeast.
From 06/01/13 notes. Had an 8 oz. pour of this on tpa at Tørst in Brooklyn, NY.
a - Pours a deep mahogany brown color with one inch of dark tan head and moderate carbonation evident. Looks pretty nice.
s - Smells of roasted malts, coffee, cream, vanilla, dark chocolate, and some burnt malts. Lots of roasty notes and chocolate in the nose; quite nice.
t - Tastes of roasted malts, toasted malts, light chocolate, some light vanilla, and burnt malts. Nice but lighter than the nose with less chocolate and vanilla.
m - Medium body, on the close to the light side, and low to moderate carbonation. Nice and easy to drink, though a little too thin for a stout for me.
o - Overall a nice collaboration. Nose is very good and it is very easy to drink, though the taste is a little light in flavor, and the body is a little too light too. Worth checking out, would have it again for sure.
