On tap at Arch Bridge the other day.
I'm not exactly sure I understand the point behind this beer. At least to my palate, it's not all that dissimilar from the old original RPM recipe, or the hop a wheelie IPA. As always with Boneyard IPA's, the beer is well balanced, with decent citrus and light tropical fruit, with a nice dollop of hoppy bitterness on the finish to handled and counter the moderate malty sweetness. Alcohol is well integrated into the flavor profile, and drinkability is very good.
Another solid Boneyard IPA for sure, but not really a standout, IMHO. I might order it again if I were visiting someplace in PDX with a lackluster tap list, but as I don't tend to frequent places in PDX with a lackluster tap list, odds are I won't be ordering this again.

Draught pour at B2 taphouse in Salem into a shaker pint. Pours golden yellow with a finger of white low density head with minimal retention and minimal lacing. Nose is competing tropical and citrus. Probably the most tropical influence nose on a beer I've had from them. Taste follows nose, prominent mango and plenty of citrus including grapefruit. Finishes with a bit of astringency and some lingering bitterness. Mouthfeel a bit thin and carbonation medium. Enjoyable, but I prefer some of their other stuff.
