On tap at Cody's Irish Pub & Grill, Essex Junction, Vermont, (love having Boneyard in VT, they fit in nicely and keep the local breweries on their toes). Had two pints here, just so I could get a good feel for this one.
The appearance was a soft golden yellow color with a semi-transparent sort of quality about it. Bar pour's kind of slim white head slid off very quickly.
The aroma had some sweet grassy notes, slight citrus, soft sweet wheat and an ever so slight sort of piney bitterness at the end.
The flavor was a pretty nice blend between all of the prior mentioned aromas pretty nicely. Moderate semi-sweet sort of wheat to bubblegum aftertaste.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a very good sessionability about it. Carbonation felt appropriate, somewhat low. ABV felt as projected by the brewer. Ever so slight sort of bubblegum to piney and citrusy sort of finish.
Overall, very nicely done APWA done by one of my favorite Oregon brewers. Thanks guys and continue to keep Vermont brewers on their toes.
