this beer is delicious, a pineapple ipa thats not sugary and remains an ipa first, a rarity in this day and age where all pineapple beers seem diabetic, and all fruited ipa types seem to lose their identity to the fruit, this was a real treat, on tap at their new pub in bend. we didnt make it to the brewery, but this place is pretty awesome too! tons of boneyard beers, lots of outside space, a cool biker aesthetic inside, and wicked food! this is pale yellowish in color with an inch of white head, it smells like the essence of a fresh pineapple behind a complimentary fruity hop profile, grapefruit and sweet orange to me, even a hint of coconut, i tend to know these guys more for robust northwestern typa hop profiles, but this seems somewhat tropical, even southern hemisphere, galaxy maybe, with a little lime note here, in any event, its different for them, somewhat more delicate, and seemingly perfectly paired with the natural pineapple character. the flavor of the pineapple is awesome, its honest and real, and its not sugary at all. in fact, the whole beer is kind of light and dry, really good drinker for their sunny patio. less bitterness in this than i am used to from boneyard, but its still very hoppy, grapefruit come in at the end, very dry and fast finishing overall and quite light in body. this was an awesome beer with their rather spicy chicken wings in here, an easy to drink ipa without too much fruit in it but a nice natural pineapple flavor, delicious!

Boneyard beautiful. Cleanish light gold color, bone white two finger head, good amount of spit spotty lacing.
Smells like freezer burn, citrus, weed, and a dab of pine and citrus.
Flavor follows with the faintest hint of pineapple. Which I love! I'm not a huge fan of the fruit in beer, but this subtle suggestion is just right.
Clean beer. Light carbonation, easy to drink. Favors bitter but just barely.
Good beer overall. Probably would be even better without the subtle pineapple.
Cheers.
