Brewed using 6 different NW varieties of hops at over 2.5 pounds per barrel, RPM IPA focuses on extreme hoppiness rather than bitterness. It’s golden to copper in color with a complex malt profile that will not overshadow the hops. Our flagship, RPM IPA, will satisfy any opinionated hop forward IPA consumer.

large can into glass
Rich 'n' creamy, slightly off-white head. Mostly clear, medium orange with a good bit of a medium amber hue, for the look. Somewhat sweet, malted caramel with slight tangerine peel & touch of mixed tropical fruits, makes up the aroma. Moderately biting, tangerine peel with a good medium toasted caramel malt base, for the taste, and quite well balanced. Smooth finish.

Poured form a can into a pint glass
Appearance -The beer pours a lightly hazed golden straw color with a tall head of puffy white foam. The head fades quickly leaving a light sum of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is heavy of a grainy and bready aroma mixed with some cracker malt and a touch of tropical and citrus fruit of a tangerine and mango nature. Along with these comes some herbal and floral hop as well as a touch of pine.
Taste -The taste begins with bready and biscuit malt matched with some light tangerine and orange and a decent showing of floral and herbal hop. As the taste advances the fruit dries out a bit all while some pine joins into the hop profile. Toward the end comes a light bit of hay and must, leaving one with a drier and more herbal and dank taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is medium to lighter for the abv with a moderate carbonation level.
Overall – A pretty decent none fruity IPA with a more dank nature. Good old school style IPA.

This is the gold standard for me. I know it’s popular, I know it’s trendy, I don’t care. The bottom line is that it’s the best tasting beer to drink. It could be a bit cheaper.

Pours a crystal clear copper with a foamy white head that provides moderate lacing. Beautiful WCIPA.

The nose features lots of resiny pine and fresh citrus, which is exactly where the taste lands, with a nice residual bitterness. Absolutely delicious.

The mouthfeel is medium and bruisingly dry. This is a world class WCIPA, IMHO.

It’s been a long time since I’ve had a beer like this. A good west coast IPA? Seems people are throwing in everything they can these days to make something “new”.
Call me old fashioned, but why not do a classic really well? Boneyard has done that with this one. Not imperial, nothing fancy, just solid hops that bring to mind the first time I had a WC IPA. Pine and grassy hop flavors and the malt profile is actually noticeable, but served as an ideal base for the hops to shine.
Good beer, I’m rather sad I can’t get it in Michigan.

This is one of the best IPAs in the NW, bar none. It has the right balance of hops and malt to make one great beer. This is their Flagship beer and has been for years, don't mess with greatness. Have had this beer numerous times.

19 oz can purchased for $3.00 at Winco.
This was the lowest ABV IPA I could find in the refrigerated case of 19 oz singles.
What a great surprise to find such a great tasting 6.5% IPA simply by chance.

Clear, amber color. Medium-sized, white head. Piney, floral aroma with citrus notes. Hoppy taste with a malty background. Strong, hoppy bitterness at the end.
