On tap at the 2013 Firestone Walker Invitational held at the Paso Robles Event Center in Paso Robles, CA.
Billed as brewed specifically for the Firestone Walker Invitational using only Mosaic hops in the recipe.
Pours a murky orange with a foamy off-white head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Small dots of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, citrus zest, and herbal hop aromas. Taste is much the same with citrus and herbal flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of roasty bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a good level of carbonation with a crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a good beer that tastes better than it smells in my opinion.
