Cherrytastic. If you like cherries, you'll like the tart fruit flavor in this beer. It may be a bit too intense for some, but since I love cherries it worked for me. This is a perennial favorite from this brewery, so if you see it and you like fruit beers give it a try.

Had on tap at the brewery.
On arrival, 1 finger of white head sat on top of a nearly red, amber clear body. Some nice lacing is left.
Aroma is up front quite yeasty and a bit funky. It seems like the cherries might be imparting a slight metallic Aroma. Decent but could be cleaner.
Flavor is similar to the Aroma, but a bit cleaner, with less funk, however the beer is quite sweet and almost tastes like cherry syrup. This is NOT a sour beer like I expected, perhaps a bit naively. once you get used to the tart cherry not being fermented it is quite good, but very sweet. There is a slight hop bitterness, and pale malts are present in the finish in a crackery way. I will say the flavor is more horsey like a saison than expected as well.
Feel is slightly astringent, but with a syrupy and sugary medium to long finish. It's alright but definitely quite sweet.
Overall this isn't quite what I expected, with a big cherry pie sweetness, and very light tartness. It is a quality beverage however as it is quite clean, and the cherries taste real, as well as a solid malty finish although it is a bit covered by the cherries.

A short head of fine, bright white bubbles with suggestions of pink quickly recedes to a bubbly collar over a shockingly clear candy apple red body.
Though the nose contains some of the trademark char and spice, the palate is a little sweeter and stickier than I'd prefer, with more maraschino-esque qualities than you'd typically find in a more traditional take.

Pours a ruby red note. Cherry bursts on the palate, just big tart and juicy. Belgian yeast comes across as it opens, leaning a long funky finish on the sip.
Enjoyed at the source.

L:. Pours a bright brilliant pinkish red with a very small white head and no lacing on the glass.
S:. Sweet cherry interlaced with tart cherry and a note of cinnamon and some pie spices. This is a very subtle but nice aroma.
T:. Sweet cherry, interlaced with tart cherry, a light herbal bitterness, notes of cinnamon and a few pie spices, with notes of caramel in the background. Very nice taste.
F:. Medium mouthfeel, smooth carbonation.
O:. This is a fantastic cherry beer.

Nice brick red color, smells of uncleaned tart cherries on the nose (a little earth in the aroma), the taste is a perfectly balanced tart cherry pie w/out any spices, and the feel is medium bodied with light carbonation. The best part is the finish which is a second burst of tart cherry. Great beer.

Taste like watered-down version of delirium red.
